more coldplay.... not sure if it matters.

Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry
You don't know how lovely you are

I had to find you
Tell you I need you
Tell you I've set you apart

Tell me your secrets
And ask me your questions
Oh, let's go back to the start

Running in circles
Coming up tails
Heads on the science apart

Nobody said it was easy
It's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard

Oh take me back to the start

I was just guessing
At numbers and figures
Pulling the puzzles apart

Questions of science
Science and progress
Do not speak as loud as my heart

Oh tell me you love me
Come back and haunt me
Oh and I rush to the start

Running in circles
Chasing our tails
Coming back as we are

Nobody said it was easy
Oh, it's such a shame for us to part
Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard

I’m going back to the start

Oh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ah ooh ooh ooh ooh
Oh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Oh ooh ooh ooh ooh

what do you ask?

Balian of Ibelin: What could a king ask of a man like me?
Godfrey of Ibelin: A better world than has ever been seen. A kingdom of conscience. A kingdom of heaven.

I am with you....

To the Death.

By doing so I may condem myself to defeat, to insurmentable odds. Though they may help, numbers do not win battles. And in this, I commit to you, For I am with you....
To the Death.

"My Immortal"

I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

[Chorus:]
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me

You used to captivate me
By your resonating light
Now I'm bound by the life you left behind
Your face it haunts
My once pleasant dreams
Your voice it chased away
All the sanity in me

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase

[Chorus]

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me
I've been alone all along

[Chorus]

Tell her You were right, you were right....

Boris Pasternak, February

February. Get ink, shed tears.
Write of it, sob your heart out, sing,
While torrential slush that roars
Burns in the blackness of the spring.

Go hire a buggy. For six grivnas,
Race through the noice of bells and wheels
To where the ink and all you grieving
Are muffled when the rainshower falls.

To where, like pears burnt black as charcoal,
A myriad rooks, plucked from the trees,
Fall down into the puddles, hurl
Dry sadness deep into the eyes.

Below, the wet black earth shows through,
With sudden cries the wind is pitted,
The more haphazard, the more true
The poetry that sobs its heart out.

fire & rain

Ive seen fire and Ive seen rain
Ive seen sunny days that I thought would never end
Ive seen lonely times when I could not find a friend
But I always thought that Id see you again

Do you?

Do you ever wonder what it could have been?

Democracy

Democracy is bad, We do not, should not, and need to avoid being a Democracy. Democracy will lead to anarchy, which will lead to Tyranny, which will lead to an oligargy, and we will be subjects to the elite!

We are a Republic, Ruled by law, not by the majority. Majority whims will spend the treasury and deplete the powers that limit the government from subjegating its people. They serve us, we do not serve them. Look up the difference. Become educated. This is your country.

if people only took this to heart

"To Err is Human, but forgiveness is divine."

Men and peer presure

I think more so than women, men are targeted by peer presure. To fit in. It is really sad but we need to be this macho, no feelings, manisfestation. Tons of sexual conquests, and no care in the world, which really is nothing of what I really am. Have I had sexual conquests? Yes, many. How many of them matter.... less than 5%. How much of that 5% do I still have contact with, about 2%. Which really sucks. Men value strength and this ability to control and have power. But real power is doing whats right. Real strength is the ability to look at all your peers and say, I believe that this is what is right, and I don't care what you think, I am doing this. You will be shunned, you will be made fun of, and looked down on. But those who look down on you, those who look at all those "Tests" of what a real man is, they are truly the most insecure out there.
Strength is being able to admit you were wrong, and that you want to make it right. The very fact that you can admit you have made mistakes sets you far above others. I know I have made many mistakes, and some of those mistakes have turned into regret. I am not sure if I will ever be able to make those wrongs right, and that I will always regret. Sometimes it is not up to you to redeem yourself.
But have the strength to do whats right, and to keep trying to make what is wrong right. No matter what others think. It will not be an easy road, but those rewards, well they just might be worth it.

Annie's song

John Denver wrote this song on a ski lift in Aspen. Him and his then Wife were having problems, after skiing down a difficult run and being emmeressed in the tranquil beauty of his surroundings, the one thing he could think about was his wife, Annie. Though her name was never mentioned in the song, it only took him ten minutes to write the song, as an ode to her. Its funny how difficult times, and actually getting away, makes you realize the beauty in some things.

Doing what's right

I have found that doing the right thing is cut and dry. Its not that people don't know what is right, it is just usually to hard. And because of that, most people can't even identify when others are telling the truth or doing what is right anymore. When they see it, they actually miss identify it as a person trying to manipulate them or get something out of it. I guess as it was said in "Scent of a Woman", "I always knew what the right path was. Without exception, I knew. But I never took it. You know why? It was too damn hard. Now here's Charlie. He's come to the crossroads. He has chosen a path. It's the right path. It's a path made of principle -- that leads to character. Let him continue on his journey."

So look around, look at your principle, look at your character. Take the right path, and let others, even help others take that right path.

daschund

daschunds are probably the cutest dogs in the world. I am a daschund convert. Never thought the day would come. Oh well.
