My brain is going to explode

stubborn people who don't listen, are closed minded, twist things to fit their agenda. People who don't play by the rules, don't care about the welfare of others. People who just stand in the way of improving life in general for their own selfish wants. If you don't want to play by the rules, don't get involved, especially in volunteer organizations. And for the others that are closed minded because of fear or own self agendas, life is much nicer when you give the courtesies of listening to the other side, and understanding where they come from, even if you don't agree. At least listen, and you might gain a better understanding.

I wish more people took their own advice and would truly listen to what they say. You might have brilliant advice, but what does it say when you don't practice what you preach?

I am so shocked by the fact that when you say black tie affair, so many middle aged adults not just have a clue, but don't care to abide by the meaning of a formal social. Yes it may not be exactly what you do everyday, but dont go stipulating changes to a black tie event. If you don't agree, don't go. And that means Formal attire, not JEANS!
